At Casillas Veterinary Hospital, we proudly offer comprehensive wellness exams for your beloved pet at our several clinics serving the areas of Montebello, Lynwood, and East Los Angeles. If it's been more than a year since your pet's last wellness exam, now is a great time to schedule an appointment and get your pet on-track to optimized health.
Annual exams are important to your pet's health, even if he or she is not displaying any signs of health problems. Specifically, an annual vet exam allows us to keep track of any potential changes in your pet's health and wellness, as well as to detect signs of disease and other medical conditions as early as possible. This, in turn, increases the chances for more successful treatment and management of health issues.
Furthermore, as part of your pet's exam, we'll take the time to ensure that your pet is up-to-date on all vaccinations for your added peace of mind. And of course, we can make recommendations regarding any changes in your pet's diet or lifestyle to improve overall health.
When you come into our animal hospital for a pet exam, we'll begin by taking the time to get to know you. Our veterinarian and veterinary assistant will ask some basic questions about your pet and his or her overall health, in addition to giving you an opportunity to bring up any potential problems, concerns, or changes in health that you would like us to address during the appointment. Next, we'll begin the comprehensive exam, which will involve an assessment of your pet's health, weight, coat, and other important factors. If any problems are detected, we may also recommend additional diagnostic testing in our office to confirm any medical conditions and treat them as soon as possible.
At the end of the appointment, we'll ensure that your pet is up-to-date on any vaccinations and provide some additional information or advice on improving your pet's health. Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that you walk out of the office with a better idea of where your pet's health and wellness stands, as well as any steps you can take to improve it.
If your pet is due for an exam, contact our Montebello area vet at Casillas Veterinary Hospitals. We have several convenient locations and are offering a money-saving new client special, so be sure to take advantage!
